Job Summary

M&T Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's Azure Cloud Tenancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cloud-based solutions to meet business needs
  • Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance and availability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based architectures
  • Design and implement cloud-based security solutions to protect company data
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure as code using BICEP, ARM, or Terraform
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application and infrastructure deployment
  • Work with IT Service Management processes to ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud operations at a senior level
  • Successful track record of developing, implementing, and managing Azure Cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud-based architectures for enterprise-level applications
  • Proficient in writing infrastructure as code in BICEP, ARM, or Terraform
  • Proficient in developing CI/CD pipelines for automated application and infrastructure deployment
  • Experience working with and enhancing IT Service Management processes
  • Proficient in using Azure DevOps
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI
  • Experience and knowledge of FinOps highly regarded
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of best practice security principles with cloud and the mechanisms for configuring systems in line with security policies
  • Demonstrated capability to work with projects and diverse stakeholder teams to develop cloud solutions designs
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to rapidly understand a business domain and how technology supports its performance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including stakeholder, vendor, and senior executive interaction
  • Knowledge and experience with DevOps, Agile, Lean practices
