Program OverviewThe NT Remote Locum Program is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led initiative dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.
We are seeking experienced Dentists to provide dental treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role involves short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
- Culturally sensitive training and ongoing support ensure a smooth transition into remote healthcare.
- Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dentist within the past 12 months.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
