Job Title

Plasterer/Renderer (Full-time)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Plasterer/Renderer. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for carrying out interior and exterior plastering and rendering tasks on both residential and commercial projects.

You will work closely with our Site Supervisor to assess project requirements and plan plastering tasks accordingly. This will involve setting up scaffolding, tools, mixer, and materials, cleaning and preparing work surfaces, creating smooth, sanded or textured finishes as specified, leveling and straightening ceiling surfaces, corners, and angles, and finishing undersides of concrete floors.

To ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, you will need to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • A relevant Australian Certificate IV (or overseas equivalent) with at least 1 year of full-time, relevant work experience, or a minimum of 3 years' relevant full-time work experience in place of formal qualification;
  • Demonstrated plastering experience;
  • Sound knowledge of trade industry operations;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Fast, efficient, and dependable work ethic;
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills (desirable).
Benefits

This is a permanent full-time position offering a salary range of AUD $90,000-$100,000 per annum plus superannuation. You will have access to a generous leave entitlement and opportunities for professional development.

Other Information

The successful candidate will be required to work an 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required to meet the demands of the job.
