At Bluefin Resources, we are seeking an experienced Tech Risk in Change Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This 12-month contract position will be responsible for evaluating changes to determine their relevance to risk management and performing detailed risk assessments to identify potential risks linked to change initiatives.

The successful candidate will apply both qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the likelihood and impact of identified risks, analyse the effects of proposed changes on various areas of the organisation, and conduct inherent and residual risk assessments related to each change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate changes to determine their relevance to risk management
  • Perform detailed risk assessments to identify potential risks linked to change initiatives
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the likelihood and impact of identified risks
  • Analyse the effects of proposed changes on various areas of the organisation
  • Conduct inherent and residual risk assessments related to each change
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require at least 5-7 years of experience in a Tech/IT Operational Risk role from the Banking/Insurance/Super industry, along with certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CIPP, or CISM. You will also need a detailed understanding of IT risk management and control assurance, good communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to actively participate in all regulatory compliance activities associated with this role.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a dynamic and growing industry.
