Associate to Judicial Registrar Support Specialist

About the role
The County Court has a significant presence in Victoria, with over 12,000 cases annually. The court aims to deliver justice and inspire public confidence.
As an Associate to Judicial Registrar Bales, you will provide high-level support in the Common Law Division for a fixed term of 12 months.
You will be responsible for case file management, communication at all levels, and legal research and writing.
This is a complex and demanding environment that requires strong organisational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.
To succeed, applicants should have demonstrated experience in a similar role or possess relevant legal knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a particular interest in Common Law and excellent attention to detail.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who can make a valuable contribution to our team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Conduct legal research and prepare reports
- Support the Judicial Registrar in their duties
**Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or relevant legal knowledge
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Particular interest in Common Law and willingness to learn
