The FI&P division is the largest segment of our company's Specialties Solutions. This team provides insurance and risk advisory services to financial and professional services industries, specializing in high-risk companies.

Aon brings together risk and human capital to deliver industry insights, data, and analytics, as well as risk consulting, advice, and insurance solutions to support clients' business goals.

As a Senior Business Leader, you will oversee a portfolio of Financial Institutions/Professions clients, focusing on achieving consistent acquisition, excellent retention, and delivery across NSW.

  • Partner with the Managing Director and Sales & Growth Strategy leads to manage internal channel distribution relationships and drive strategic sales initiatives
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, lead tender responses and proposals, and contribute to the growth and retention of Aon's FI&P portfolio
  • Oversee open market placement activities, ensuring alignment with go-to-market strategies and compliance with broking standards
  • Proactively manage client relationships at a senior level, delivering a client-centric approach to servicing clients
  • Monitor and interpret industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments, sharing insights with stakeholders
  • Participate in key speaking opportunities at industry events to raise awareness of Aon's capabilities in the FI&P space
  • Manage P&L and margin performance for the assigned portfolio, ensuring alignment with financial goals and targets
  • Lead operational changes, embedding agile practices and modern tools to enhance efficiency and client outcomes
  • Coach and lead a high-performing team, supporting career development, performance management, and succession planning
  • Maintain strategic relationships with insurance carrier partners in all key markets and negotiate appropriate risk transfer solutions based on client risk profile
