Early Childhood Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Coordinator to join our team at Northcott. As an Early Childhood Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and well-being of children aged 0-9 years with developmental delay and/or disability.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with children and their families to assess and demonstrate knowledge around developmental milestones and the impact of disability on children and their families' support networks.
- Meet with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to discuss Early Intervention Access and provide support to families.
- Interpret reports from allied health professionals and convey information to families in a clear and concise manner.
- Liaise with community groups and overcome language barriers to provide culturally responsive support to families.
- Minimum Diploma tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Allied Health Professions, or a related field.
- Understanding of the importance of implementing a tailored and personalized approach to children and their families.
- Moderate report writing and IT skills, including database management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience providing support to families using a family-focused and strengths-based approach.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and implementing evidence-based early childhood intervention strategies with families using a capacity-building approach.
- Current Driver's Licence - P1 minimum.
- Valid Working with Children's Check Clearance - mandatory.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS WC) or willingness to obtain – mandatory.
- Working Rights in Australia for Full Time Employment.
- Fully vaccinated (including boosters) in accordance with current Northcott Requirements (unless granted an exemption).
