Building Services Director

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive the success of our Building Services Group. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, management expertise, and leadership to ensure the Group achieves its objectives.
- You will support Team Leaders and Project Technical Leads to maintain focus on resourcing, safety, work winning, QA adherence, risk management, and staff morale.
- Your role will involve supporting the career aspirations and learning and development requirements of Group staff.
- You will represent the company externally to Clients and play a senior and active role in managing these relationships.
The Building Services Group consists of Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulics teams.
In this position, you will play a leading part in delivering projects through technical leadership or project management roles.
- You will manage current and future workloads/staffing levels within the Group to achieve work received and utilisation targets.
- You will oversee resourcing management carried out by Team Leader(s).
- You will create and foster great Project Technical Leads and Team Leaders.
- You will ensure the Group maintains an appropriate level of service to key Clients by supporting Sector Leaders, Market Leaders, and Project Managers in successful delivery of projects.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Prior experience in a Building Services Consulting environment in Western Australia.
- Significant relevant and demonstrated experience in people and team leadership.
- Tertiary Engineering qualification.
- Licenced/chartered status with a relevant national industry body, or working towards it.
- 10 years professional experience in a relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulics).
