Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Aboriginal Health Worker to join our team.

This role promotes holistic well-being, empowering individuals, families, and communities to take action on their health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support client assessment, support, assistance, and advocacy in health or related fields.
  • Develop and deliver culturally appropriate programs and resources.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Requirements:
  • Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
  • Hold a Certificate III in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or relevant qualification.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of current Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health priorities.
Working Conditions:

The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team, requiring strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. The ability to develop and deliver culturally appropriate programs and resources is essential.
