About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Strategist to join our team at the State Revenue Office, a division of the State of Victoria. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs Branch, you will play a critical role in managing our website content and providing strategic communications advice to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Website Content Rewrite Project: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to audit and rewrite our website content, ensuring it meets customer needs and is aligned with our tone and messaging standards.
  • Develop Strategic Communication Plans: Create and execute communication and stakeholder engagement plans to support change management and drive behavioral change and awareness associated with our Website Review project.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with our Corporate Affairs team and other stakeholders to write, edit, and proof website content and applications, ensuring accuracy, grammar, clarity, and consistency.
  • Ensure Seamless Delivery: Ensure all content is correctly uploaded and published in our Content Management System and collaborate with our Corporate Affairs Digital Team to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Meet Communication Objectives: Ensure all activities meet communication and organizational objectives, adhere to style guides, and meet Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG), accessibility, discoverability, usability, and quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience managing high-profile multi-channel program communication strategies, initiatives, and campaigns with a digital-first focus, on time and within budget.
  • Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to strategically plan, prioritize, and achieve high standards of performance for strategic communications activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Marketing and Communications: Proven experience effectively managing marketing, communications, digital, and stakeholder engagement, and effectively managing reputational risks and issues, solving problems, and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge and Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge and a record of achievement in communications, managing contemporary communications, digital experiences, and marketing strategies aligned with our organization's objectives.
  • Tertiary Qualification: A tertiary qualification in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
