Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Product Manager to define and execute the strategy and roadmap for our data and analytics solutions related to operational and safety portfolios.

This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-value data-driven products that provide actionable insights and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the vision for data and analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with company strategic goals
    - Collaborate with customers to identify and prioritize data needs and translate customer problems into business solutions
    - Extract, prioritize, and document product requirements
    - Develop and maintain a product roadmap for analytics solutions, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic initiatives
    - Work with Product Owners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features, managing the entire lifecycle from conception to launch
    - Drive solution adoption and usage, working with customer success and marketing to create compelling messaging and materials.
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between solution projects, technical capabilities, and business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering)
    - 7+ years of professional experience (1 year of Product Management)
    - Broad understanding of analytics tools across the data pipeline from ingestion to presentation
    - Mining experience, ideally with fleet management and/or mine safety systems
    - Strong understanding of product economics (NPV, IRR, payback periods)
    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills including business plans for executive level
    - Experience with modern business data storage, management and visualization tools and systems
    - Ability to work independently and in a team, in remote and office environments
    - Effective time management, balancing work/life while working with international teams.

Desired Skills

  • Certification in Agile, Project Management, or Product Owner
    - Experience managing direct reports
    - Experience across the mining value chain including mine planning, load & haul and processing
