Electrical Technician


About the Role:

This position is responsible for performing various tasks such as machine installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Key duties include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production machinery to ensure continuous operation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery
  • Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process
  • Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
  • Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
  • Work with others to ensure that equipment is in proper working order

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Electrical or related Technical Engineering
  • Combination of additional education and experience
  • Experience as a Machine Operator
  • Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computer skills, and mechanics
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others
  • Proficiency with hand tools
