Job Opportunity: Geotechnical Project Engineer Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Project Engineer Team Leader to manage geotechnical projects, guide a team of engineers, and deliver reliable solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct technical staff to successfully execute geotechnical assignments
  • Provide leadership across project execution, client development, and daily operations
  • Prepare project proposals and technical reports or assign tasks to appropriate team members
  • Strategically assign personnel to projects to achieve financial performance targets
  • Promote integrated service offerings, contribute to business growth efforts, and cultivate strong local connections

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer license in North Carolina or can obtain one by reciprocity
  • Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing staff, or the desire to learn
  • Experience and a desire for business development activities
