Role Overview

The Market Strategist - FX will be responsible for presenting investment ideas and opportunities to Global Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Central Banks, and other Institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present investment ideas and opportunities to Global Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Central Banks, and other Institutional clients
  • Work closely with the trading team across Spot, Forward, Options, Segregated Execution on optimization and analysis of client flows
  • Perform regular client reviews and visits with proactive follow-up
  • Liaise with our counterparts in Legal, KYC, and credit with onboarding new relationships
  • Pricing and trading products including Foreign Exchange, Precious Metals, Fixed Income, and Derivatives across G10 & EM

About You

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a similar role with a track record of developing and fostering FX relationships in Tier 1 Investment Banks
  • Existing relationships with Institutional client bases
  • Extensive knowledge of the FX, Rates, Commodities & Fixed Income market and including skills in structured products
  • Focused on deliverables and willing to put in required sales effort to help drive business growth
  • Good local market knowledge
  • A sense of how macroeconomic developments could be beneficial for the largest sophisticated investors
  • Entrepreneurial skills to prioritize resources to maximize outcome and value for clients
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Derivative and Workflow Solutions knowledge is preferable
  • Advanced quantitative skills with the ability to interpret business and economic data and assess implications for client requirements
  • Driven and dedicated to helping the team succeed
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact and engage with regional/global teams
