The Administration Officer plays a pivotal role in the Child Safety Service Centre, overseeing key administrative functions to ensure seamless operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Processes: The incumbent will be responsible for administering financial processes, including procurement, ordering, payments of accounts, petty cash, and monthly monitoring and reconciliation in accordance with current legislative and departmental accounting practices.
- Human Resources: They will administer HR processes in accordance with current legislation and departmental policies, ensuring accurate data entry and management of relevant databases and files.
- Client Engagement: Providing information to internal and external clients regarding office services and procedures to promote quality customer service through reception (telephone and counter enquiries), email, and other forums.
- Team Coordination: Prioritizing and coordinating activities in a team environment to meet deadlines and being flexible in a changing work environment.
This role reports to the Business Officer in the Child Safety Service Centre and has no direct reports or delegations. A strong understanding of software packages and databases is essential for this role.
