Swimming Instructor Job

We are seeking a swimming instructor to teach water safety and swimming strokes to children and adults. The ideal candidate will have a current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certification or equivalent qualification, as well as a current Department of Human Services Child Related Employment Screening clearance.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining order, control, and ensuring appropriate behaviour of class participants with particular attention to safety. They will also be required to work in an environment of high-level customer service satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taught water safety and swimming strokes to children and adults.
  • Maintained order, control, and ensured appropriate behaviour of class participants.
  • Worked in an environment of high-level customer service satisfaction.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • A current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certification or equivalent qualification.

  • Be available to work a minimum of two to three shifts a week inclusive of one weekend shift.
