About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bush Revegetator Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Jamberoo Native Nursery.

As a key member of our Southern Bushland Repair team, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with revegetation projects, coordinating and leading a small team of revegetators, and ensuring all project sites are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in the implementation of large-scale revegetation projects, including site preparation, planting works, erosion control, and irrigation.
  • Implement weed management and routine maintenance of all project sites, prioritizing and structuring tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Lead a small team of revegetators, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Report to the Project & General Manager on a timely basis, providing regular updates on project progress and site maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in bush revegetation works is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent health and fitness, with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting, with a passion for land care, conservation, and the natural environment.
  • Own transport and driver's license, with the ability to travel to project sites.
  • Demonstrated interest in plant identification and first aid, with AQF3 Chemical Accreditation.
