We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bush Revegetator Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Southern Bushland Repair, a sister company of Jamberoo Native Nursery.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale revegetation projects, coordinating and leading a small team of revegetators to ensure all sites are kept up to standard. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in the implementation of revegetation projects, including site preparation, planting works, erosion control, and irrigation.

Your key focus areas will include:

  • Implementing weed management and routine maintenance of all project sites.
  • Prioritizing, structuring, coordinating, and leading a small team of revegetators.
  • Reporting to the Project & General Manager on a timely basis.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for land care, conservation, and the natural environment. You will have experience in bush revegetation works and demonstrated leadership and organizational skills. Key requirements include:

  • Experience in bush revegetation works is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong team player with sound communication skills.
  • Excellent health and fitness.
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Own transport and drivers license.
  • Demonstrated interest in land care, conservation, and the environment.
  • Plant identification skills.
  • First aid certificate.
  • AQF3 Chemical Accreditation.
