We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Trainer to join our team at Rio Tinto's Gudai-Darri iron ore mine. As a key member of our Training Hub team, you will be responsible for onboarding and developing our people, with a focus on technical capability and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver training to the frontline workforce through one-on-one, infield, or small group sessions
- Develop and implement training programs to support the development of our people
- Collaborate with our Operations team to ensure training is aligned with business needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure trainees meet required standards
- Provide coaching and mentoring to support the development of our people
- Proven experience in mining operations with a strong understanding of HME and Caterpillar Minestar
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- On Job Trainer qualification or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
