Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Fassifern Depot. The successful candidate will have a strong background in transport and heavy vehicle maintenance, with a focus on keeping our modern fleet of prime movers, earthmoving equipment, and mechanical equipment operational and serviced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • Diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong electrical aptitude
  • Experience working with heavy-duty equipment
  • Experience in a heavy industry transport or mining environment
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Ability to pass an ASIO/Police clearance
