Job Title: Certificate IV Instructor

The job involves delivering and assessing the training package in commercial cookery, implementing curriculum reviews, and ensuring efficient delivery of course material.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering current qualifications (SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management & Commercial Cookery)
  • Implementing and self-managing curriculum review regularly
  • Ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the curriculum
  • Ongoing professional development in the course area
  • Monitoring student academic performance closely and making recommendations to the coordinator
  • Reporting, submitting, and verifying assessments on time
  • Validating assessments and mapping
  • Responsible for effective communication between staff and students

Essential Qualifications:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
  • SIT40516 Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
  • A minimum of 3-year current industry experience and 1 year of VET teaching experience
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development as outlined in the vocational and industry area
  • Current vocational equivalent or higher to the qualification applied for
  • Current industry experience in the relevant field
  • Up-to-date Professional Development records
  • Experience working in an RTO with vocational currency and industry currency is essential

Additional Requirements:

- Contract length: 3 months
- Hourly rate: $45.00 - $50.00
- Schedule: 8 hour shift
- Work Location: One location
