Business Development Manager Position

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand our customer base. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to meet or exceed sales targets for portable power solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement sales strategies to achieve exceptional sales performance and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
  • BUILD STRONG, LONG-LASTING CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS with key chain retailers in various industries, including outdoor, battery, hardware, consumer electronics, automotive, 4x4, and supermarket sectors.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Provide expert product training and support to retailers or distributors to ensure comprehensive product knowledge and effective sales techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies and materials.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events to promote our products and generate leads.
  • Furnish feedback to the product development team on market needs and product improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy sector, with a track record of achieving sales targets and experience in portable power distributors or manufacturers will be preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the portable power station, portable fridge, portable solar panel, and generator market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade different stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willngness to travel as required to meet clients and attend events.
