Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs to students, focusing on further developing their skills and competencies as effective classroom practitioners.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and capacity to respond to student learning needs
  • Implementation of high-impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn, and evaluation of the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth
  • Monitoring and assessing student learning, use of data to inform teaching practice and provision of feedback on student learning growth and achievement to students and parents
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, establishment and maintenance of collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community to support student learning, wellbeing and engagement
  • Behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values, reflection upon practice and engagement in professional learning to continually improve the quality of teaching
