About the Role

We're seeking experienced professionals with a passion for renewable energy to join our team as Wind Turbine Technicians.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on various wind farms across Australia, providing routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, and upgrades on wind turbines.

Candidates must be willing to travel and work in different locations. You'll focus on performing planned preventative maintenance routines and making performance checks as required.

Key responsibilities include repairing, refurbishing or replacing defective plant equipment, operating and assisting with the operation of assigned plants, documenting all activities, and ensuring adherence to Quality Assurance requirements.

Additionally, you'll respond to afterhours call outs and provide support to other wind farm sites as required. Travel across sites to support maintenance across different platforms.

Requirements

  • Accredited Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification.

  • Global Wind Organisation certification (GWO). Heights rescue desirable.

  • High Voltage Switching experience and qualification desirable.

  • Preferable Wind Turbine Experience/Accreditation highly regarded but not essential.

  • Current Driver's License.

  • Extensive work experience in the heavy industry sector.

  • Fundamental understanding of asset management principles.

  • Willingness to travel, often in remote locations.
