We are seeking a skilled Clinical Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our team at our busy hearing clinic in Brighton, South Australia.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing client hearing loss, reporting results, and recommending solutions. You will also provide counselling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose client hearing loss using various techniques, including audiometric tests
  • Report results and make referrals to medical practitioners
  • Recommend solutions to clients with hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, and assistive listening devices
  • Provide aural rehabilitation programs and counselling to clients and families
  • Assist with noise control and hearing conservation strategies
Requirements
  • University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
  • Current membership or eligibility for membership of AudA or ACAud
  • Current QP number
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge
  • Excellent customer care and service skills
  • Ability to learn new software with training
  • Proven ability to achieve KPIs
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
