About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Pharmacist to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy dispensary and provide health services such as medical checks, vaccinations, hearing checks, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Model professional, considerate, and supportive management behavior, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • High Volume Dispensing: Manage a busy pharmacy with a high dispensary volume, ensuring efficient and accurate dispensing practices.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure customer service is a priority for all team members, providing exceptional care and support to patients.
  • Team Management: Lead a team including Pharmacists, Dispensary Technicians, and pharmacy assistants, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to achieve excellence.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Develop, coach, and mentor the team to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Detail-Oriented Dispensing: Maintain high levels of attention to detail in the dispensary, ensuring accuracy and quality in all dispensing practices.
  • Multi-Skilling and Delegation: Ensure smooth running of the business by multi-skilling and delegating tasks effectively, promoting a flexible and adaptable team.
  • Health Advice: Share advice and information with the team and customers to ensure the best healthcare is always front of mind, promoting a culture of health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Registered AHPRA Pharmacist authorized to work in Australia.
  • Experience with handling 300+ scripts per day.
  • Professional patient counseling skills.
  • Passion for networking and community involvement.
  • Driven by customer service.
