We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to provide high-quality services to adults living in residential aged care facilities and the community.
About the Role:
- Manage your calendar of appointments, choosing work hours and locations that suit you.
- Assess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties in clients.
- Potential for national travel to support clients in regional locations.
- Provide telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
- Liaise with a close-knit team of Speech Therapists.
- Advocate for support for clients with communication difficulties.
- Work closely with organisational staff, support coordinators, and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met.
- Provide consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues.
Your Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Speech Therapist in a residential or community setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in speech pathology.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
