About the Role

The Modern Applications practice at Canon is seeking a skilled Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering modern application solutions to our customers, working closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support.

This is a hybrid role with flexible work from home options and may be based out of multiple locations within Australia. You will report to the Head of Modern Applications.

Main Duties
  • Implementing and contributing to the design of Power Platform/Dynamics 365 CE solutions following Microsoft's best practices.
  • Participating in technical reviews, technical documentation, and remediation plans throughout all aspects of the software development life cycle.
  • Liaising closely with stakeholders and the wider project team in gathering requirements, agile ceremonies, user acceptance testing, and go live activities.
  • Sharing and presenting to the wider Solutions team to share knowledge and experience in project implementations.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and adopting new methods and best practices for CBS' clients.
  • Attending onsite visits to clients when required.
About You

We are looking for someone with experience in delivering Dynamics 365 CE/Power Platform solutions using Agile methodologies. You will demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Customer-facing experience in consulting roles is preferred. Certification in Dynamics 365 CE/Power Platform and experience in PCF development, scripting languages is highly desirable.

Key skills include:

  • 4+ years' development experience with Power Platform/Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and its development tools.
  • 3+ years' development experience with Power Apps Portals/Power Pages and its development tools.
  • 3+ years' development experience with Power Automate.
  • Familiarity and experience in two or more Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Project Service Automation/Project Operations, Field Services, etc.).
  • Familiarity and experience of SSRS reports and Power BI integration with Power Platform.
  • Familiarity and experience of Microsoft.NET, Visual Studio, XRM toolbox, Azure Dev Ops.
