Perth, Western Australia beBeeInfrastructure Full time $120,000 - $180,000

Perth Airport serves as a significant hub connecting Western Australia with the rest of Australia and the world. It operates 24/7 throughout the year, playing a crucial role in providing economic, social, and cultural benefits to West Australians.

The airport is investing heavily in new infrastructure to support airline partners, offering more services to new destinations and an enhanced customer experience. Over the next decade, we will expand T1 International and build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, and two multi-storey car parks. This development will deliver a seamless travel experience for passengers.

The Perth Airport estate spans 2100 hectares, featuring a diverse range of industrial premises and vacant land holdings. We cater to a diverse community, contributing to strengthening cultural, family, and social bonds while supporting business, tourism, and leisure travel.

We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Aerodrome Infrastructure Planner.

  1. Oversee the planning and design of new aerodrome and apron facilities.
  2. Conduct detailed data analysis and facilitate high-quality planning studies by external consultants.
  3. Assist in preparing essential planning documents and provide timely and accurate information to internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  4. Engage with stakeholders to gather planning inputs, support discussions, and ensure initiatives align with safety, risk, and environmental requirements.
  5. Contribute to reviewing innovative technologies and trends for the aerodrome infrastructure.
  6. Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless project execution and address issues during planning and implementation phases.

About You:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in airport planning at major airports or aviation planning consultancies, focusing on aprons and airfields.
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Airport Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data effectively.
  4. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly both orally and in writing.
  5. Experience in the planning and design process for infrastructure projects.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. CAD or similar drawing packages are advantageous but not essential.
  7. A team player who can work effectively with peers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to achieve planning and design objectives.

About Us:

We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities, and a modern approach to work-life integration. Our competitive remuneration package comes with additional company benefits including free parking.

We are committed to building an equitable and diverse workforce representative of the community we serve. We encourage and welcome applications from all communities and backgrounds.

Embedding sustainability throughout our business strategy and operations is essential. At Perth Airport, we remain steadfast in driving ESPG performance across our value chain and areas with material environmental and social impact.
