About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated support professional to join our team as an Instructional Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students, teachers, and other staff members in various aspects of classroom operations. This includes assisting with lesson planning, implementing instructional strategies, and reinforcing student learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with diverse needs
  • Assisting with setting up and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment
  • Maintaining open communication with teachers and staff regarding student progress and concerns
  • Participating in staff meetings and contributing to collaborative planning and decision-making processes

In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

  • Support students during breaks, transitions, and daily routines
  • Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities
  • Assist with photocopying, filing, and organizing student work and portfolios
  • Contribute to school events and activities as required
