The Opportunity
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our dynamic clinical mental health research team at Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (MAPrc).

We are looking for a medical professional who has a passion for women's mental health and psychopharmacology, aiming to improve current treatments and develop new approaches for mental illness.

This position involves providing medical input into multiple clinical trials, participating in all aspects of the research process, and administering specialized clinical rating scales (training provided as needed).

Requirements:
  • A medical degree with current registration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to documentation guidelines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in mental health or clinical trials is highly desirable.
