At CatholicCare NT, we are dedicated to building safe, respectful and empowered communities across the Northern Territory. We provide a diverse range of social services that support individuals, families, children, schools and communities in remote or very remote areas.

The Case Worker role is key to delivering timely and participant-centered intake and case management services. This involves working with the multi-disciplinary team to support housing stability and wellbeing, facilitating referrals and encouraging participation in site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and effective intake and case management services
  • Support housing stability and promote wellbeing
  • Facilitate referrals and encourage participation in site activities

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Certificate III or above) in social work, community services, welfare or a related field – OR equivalent experience in crisis, homelessness or case management support
  • Strong case management, assessment and planning skills
  • Effective communication, culturally responsive practice and advocacy skills
