Expert Cultural Researcher Wanted

We are seeking an ambitious cultural researcher who possesses a keen understanding of cultural nuances and a mindset that thrives in online environments.

This individual will be adept at discovering captivating cultural insights that align with our vision to become experts in social behavior & culture, driving innovation, creativity, and effectiveness in our ideas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with strategists and account service teams to develop deep cultural understandings and identify emergent trends from the social landscape.
  • Interpret qualitative social data, identify patterns in conversations, and translate these into profound insights for initiatives such as cultural insight development & social listening.
Teamwork and Relationship Management
  • Work seamlessly with strategists and account service to co-create frameworks for understanding cultural impact and aligning on methodologies for exploring the fluid nature of online discourse.
Cultural Impact & New Business
  • Develop expertise in social insights and cultural effectiveness, driven by an ongoing commitment to demonstrating the value of our work through a nuanced understanding of social dynamics.
  • Contribute to new business efforts by showcasing our expertise in cultural insight development through thought leadership and pitching.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience working in creative agencies, research agencies, or publishers, with a strong emphasis on cultural analysis and social insight generation.
  • Experience collaborating with clients and translating complex social insights into strategic recommendations for marketing stakeholders within an organization.
  • Functional understanding of social listening and cultural intelligence platforms, including tools for tracking online conversations and identifying emerging trends.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work efficiently across multiple teams, clients, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, and AI tools such as Gemini and Chat GPT.
