Community Support Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide high-quality in-home support services to our valued customers. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering people to live independently and stay connected to their local community.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike. You will be comfortable using technology, such as mobile apps, for accessing rosters and recording customer notes and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management.
  • Offer social support and transportation for social activities, shopping, and medical appointments.
  • Assist with domestic duties, such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Support customers in the use of aids and personal equipment.
  • Monitor the well-being of customers and report on their progress.
Requirements:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (where relevant).
  • Current First Aid certificate and CPR certification.
  • Australian Driver's License and reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Smartphone with internet access.
  • Desirable qualifications include Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services.
