We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced warehouse professional to join our team in Newcastle, NSW.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity that will involve working onsite at our warehouse facility.
About the Role- The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily warehouse duties including goods receival, put away, dispatch and stock management.
- They will also be responsible for conducting daily safety checks on warehouse racking and MHE equipment and reporting any hazards.
- An important aspect of this role will be data analysis and improving warehouse efficiency by optimising product location.
- The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset, able to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- They will also be involved in the production, service, and testing of lifting and rigging products.
- As part of this role, the candidate will provide coaching to the team to support development and upskilling.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
- The successful candidate will have exposure to leading or supervising a team.
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills is required.
- The ability to work autonomously or within a team as required is essential.
- A current and valid forklift ticket is mandatory.
- Experience in lifting or heavy rigging is advantageous but not essential.
