About the Role

We are seeking a permanent mechanical trade qualified fitter to join our team. This role will see you responsible for a broad range of mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment.

This position offers the opportunity to assist in managing shutdowns and be part of our inclusive and positive mindset that encourages people to contribute towards our continuous improvement ethos.

The successful candidate will have a relevant trade certificate in mechanical, fitting and turning, boiler maker or similar and proven fault-finding capabilities.

You will also be proactive and safety focused, computer literate, self-motivated and reliable with solid time management abilities and a high standard of communication.

  1. Fault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  2. Attending to equipment failure or breakdowns as they may occur
  3. Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as requested
  4. Record keeping using our SAP Maintenance platform for compliance

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant trade certificate in mechanical, fitting and turning, boiler maker or similar
  • Proven fault-finding capabilities
  • Computer literate
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Solid time management abilities
  • High standard of communication
