Lead Clinical Manager Role

The role of Lead Clinical Manager is pivotal in promoting and evaluating the delivery of excellent patient care. This position requires a dynamic and collaborative individual with previous experience as a clinical leader or senior registered nurse.

Key responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, bed management, and effective workforce allocation within the unit, while maintaining a high standard of clinical nursing leadership and problem-solving skills.

To be successful, candidates must have:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1
  • Experience and good working knowledge of subacute or acute nursing
  • Clinical and/or leadership experience
  • Highly motivated and positive outlook
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise
