About the Role


Electro Optic Systems Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to lead our electronics design team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced electronic systems for our defence and aerospace products.


Responsibilities



  • Lead a team of electronics engineers to design and develop electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and other engineering records.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electronics design, and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and processes.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in electronics design, with a strong background in circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in electronics design tools and software, such as CAD, SPICE, and PCB design software.
