About the Role

The Administrative Officer - Outpatient Support Services will be responsible for providing confidential, efficient, and comprehensive customer-oriented front-line administrative support to the SA Health Outpatient Clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the patient administration system to ensure accurate and timely processing of referrals and appointments.
  • Process referrals in a timely manner, notifying patients of clinic appointments and issuing relevant literature prior to consultation.
  • Adjust appointments as required and inform patients of changes.
  • Provide professional, quality, and responsive customer service to patients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience and computing skills, including email and word processing.
  • Sound communication skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing effective customer service.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team without direct supervision.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
