As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for undertaking trade-offs to understand optionality and narrow a broad work package. You will also undertake detailed project work to move work programs into the next phase of detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake trade-offs to understand optionality and narrow a broad work package.

  • Be a key interface with internal teams, including ore body knowledge, vent, services, technology, and operational readiness.
  • Develop phased integrated mine plans to facilitate handover to the medium-term planning team for executional planning.
  • Engage and align with stakeholders to ensure inputs are captured and integrated in line with mine-wide priorities.
About You:
  • Previous underground mining experience with exposure to Sub Level Cave or Block Cave mining operations.
  • Proficiency in Deswik Suite (Cad, IS, Sched).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated understanding of interactions between mining and other site functions.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and proactive engagement skills.
