Job Opportunity

We are seeking an EL1 Salesforce Technical Manager to join a dynamic and passionate team. This long-term 12-month contract role has extension options available if required, working at our client's office in Canberra or remotely throughout Australia.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and delivery leadership for critical enterprise production systems.
  • Offer architectural and solution design guidance to technical resources, prioritising non-functional requirements such as system performance, scalability, security, and error-handling/recoverability.
  • Lead ownership of a production system, encompassing software development, system monitoring, backup & restore, system security, major incident management, audit and compliance.
  • Manage and mentor technical resources at varying capability levels, promoting a positive team culture and continued learning and development.
  • Monitor system health and proactively address errors, bottlenecks, or capacity issues.
  • Identify, plan, and deliver continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Provide status reports, briefs, and other artefacts to senior executives.
  • Develop, document, and implement processes.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to ensure successful delivery and removal of blockers.

Essential Criteria:
  • A demonstrated technical background in Salesforce solution design and software development.
  • Experience leading or owning enterprise-grade production systems, including associated responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce Omnistudio (Vlocity).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience building team capability and establishing/refining processes/practices.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance due to clearance requirements.
