Main ResponsibilitiesClassroom Management and Teaching

The primary focus is on effective classroom management, subject content delivery, and innovative teaching methods to promote student growth and development.

Curriculum Planning and Development

Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering high-quality curriculum, participating in policy development, and contributing to project-based learning initiatives.

Student Relationships and Support

We prioritize building strong relationships between staff, students, and families, underpinned by our values of belonging, respect, and inclusivity. This involves form teacher roles, community events, and extracurricular opportunities to support student agency, wellbeing, and engagement.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum standards and the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience in responding to student learning needs and developing targeted interventions.
  • Ability to plan and implement evidence-based teaching strategies, guided by student learning needs, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Skills in monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adjusting instruction accordingly.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining positive relationships to support student learning, wellbeing, and engagement.
  • Adherence to Department values and commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflection.
