About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Fitter or Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers' equipment in the Albury and Southern NSW regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers' equipment
  • Work closely with our team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in service levels
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure total customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent discipline
  • Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated OEM equipment experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
