We are a leading bioanalytical laboratory that provides testing services for clinical trial samples in the fields of vaccines, immuno-oncology, and infectious diseases.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our team on an ongoing contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, including sample processing, logistics, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sample processing, including blood clotting, centrifuging, plasma collection, and urine dipsticks
- Coordinate logistics and shipping of samples
- Document laboratory work and results
- Maintain technical equipment and equipment logs
- Work safely in the laboratory with biological and chemical hazards
- Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field, such as immunology or biochemistry
- Previous experience in a pathology laboratory, particularly in sample reception and processing
- Training and experience with Biosafety Level 2 techniques are highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
