About the Role:

  • Evolve Scientific is seeking a skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our team in a bioanalytical laboratory setting.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, including sample processing, logistics, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sample processing, including blood clotting, centrifuging, plasma collection, and urine dipsticks.
  • Coordinate logistics and shipping of samples.
  • Document laboratory work and results.
  • Maintain technical equipment and equipment logs.
  • Work safely in the laboratory with biological and chemical hazards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, majoring in Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a pathology laboratory, processing blood or urine samples.
  • Training and experience with Biosafety Level 2 techniques are highly regarded.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
