Job Title: Senior Engineering Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Director to lead our engineering team responsible for hardware and software design, development, and lifecycle maintenance of our product line. The successful candidate will provide engineering support to the shop, commissioning, and Field Service for the Digital Mine product line, ranging from the Collision Awareness System to the Drill Guidance system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with business leadership team, Product Management, and Commercial teams to establish and execute a long-term technical strategy to meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Design and lead an organization that balances low cost country support with deep industry/customer interaction to deliver quality solutions at a competitive engineering cost.
  • Lead Engineering team to deliver new product and requisition designs on time.
  • Assure hardware and software design strategy exploits leading technologies for function, quality, and cost.
  • Lead team to address any shop or field issues.
  • Develop and strengthen the team's engineering skillsets and ensure high performance.
  • Develop engineering budget and operate within budget.
  • Develop a pipeline of engineering talent and engineering leadership.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 yrs engineering experience in mining, propulsion system, or equipment design, or related industry.
  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in leading an engineering team.
