Infrastructure Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to establish and drive the success of our infrastructure projects.

  • To achieve this, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing Program Management Office (PMO) that ensures effective planning, delivery, and governance of our infrastructure initiatives.
  • You will oversee program governance, risk management, and reporting to ensure transparency, accountability, and strategic oversight.
  • Collaboration with Executive teams, Councillors, and delivery teams is crucial to aligning projects with strategic outcomes.
  • Your expertise will also be utilized in supporting capability building within our organization by mentoring and developing project management methodologies.

Your Key Responsibilities

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Senior leadership experience in building and leading diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams in an infrastructure or local government setting.
  • A strong understanding of capital programs, including effective risk management and performance drivers.
  • Proven experience in setting up or leading a PMO in an infrastructure or government setting.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
  • A proven track record of identifying opportunities for process enhancement and delivering creative solutions.
