Healthcare Support Role

In this dynamic position, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in various admission areas.

You will be responsible for processing elective and emergency patient bookings and admissions efficiently.

This involves conducting thorough health fund eligibility checks and estimates, pre-admission organisation, admission and discharge of patients, and bed allocations.

The role requires effective communication and interpersonal skills to respond promptly to enquiries and requests from patients and colleagues.

Additionally, you will handle patient accounts and perform general administrative duties, including data entry.

The successful candidate will work a rotating roster over seven days, covering a 24-hour period.

To excel in this role

You will possess well-developed administration, customer service, and people skills, enabling you to adapt quickly and work effectively as part of any team.

Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential to prioritise effectively and manage multiple requirements.

Prior administration experience in the healthcare sector, medical or health fund industry is advantageous but not essential.

You Will Have

- Strong computer literacy

- Administration experience with a strong attention to detail
