Job Overview

This role entails a procurement specialist to support strategy development, contract management and vendor compliance.

The successful candidate will lead smaller procurement projects independently and contribute to process improvement initiatives. This role encompasses primarily Spare Parts Procurement in various disciplines including HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security, Building, and Indirect Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the formulation of procurement strategies.
  • Tendering, contract negotiation and documentation for all projects.
  • Manage vendor performance and compliance.
  • Lead smaller procurement projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare regular team reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Achieve cost savings while meeting operational requirements.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Commerce, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year in a procurement environment or 3+ years in office administration.
  • Experience with document management (desired).
  • Strong numerical, analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Full Australian working rights.
