We are seeking a dedicated Pavement Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our infrastructure.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing potholes and edge wear/breaks using bitumen patching techniques/products. This will involve assisting in repairs in varying weather conditions, maintaining small plant and hand tools, and contributing to a positive safety culture within the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Repair potholes and edge wear/breaks using bitumen patching techniques/products (crack sealing, minor bitumen sealing) in various weather conditions.
  • Maintain small plant and hand tools in a safe and effective manner.
  • Support a positive safety culture through completion of required documentation, reporting incidents/hazards/near misses, and contributing to team discussions.
  • Demonstrate safe and effective traffic control services in accordance with provided work zone traffic management plans and Council's category 'G' registration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card)
  • A Class MR Driver Licence
  • A SafeWork accredited certificate for Traffic Controller
Benefits:
